To use our services:

• Make a purchase through our Services page. Enter your coupon code if you have one during the checkout process.
• You will receive a receipt via email that contains the order number for your purchase. Purchase History can also be viewed in your account.
• Login to your account after you have made your purchase.
• Go to My Support Tickets to enter your trade review, dispute resolution or submit your league rules for review.
• Click Submit New Ticket to submit a new incident for review.
• Select the type of service you need advice for.
• Fill in the details, including the Order Number from your purchase.
• Commish Advisor will review your incident and make a recommendation within 24 hours.

Are We Experts?

This is not a simple question, and there is no simple answer!

When it comes to fantasy sports, there are NO experts. You know this to be true. How many times have you been watching a fantasy football TV program, listening to a radio show or reading a roto article, taken the advice, and it ABSOLUTELY blew up in your face? More than once, we'll bet...

We do NOT claim to be fantasy sports experts. Yes, we have won a ton of fantasy sports leagues. Yes, we have also lost many as well.

It is not Commish Advisor's goal to tell you which team will ultimately have the greatest advantage due to the trade.

Then, what do you do?

Commish Advisor cuts through the BS involved in league trades. We offer a COMPLETELY unbiased look at the trade to make sure the trade falls within the league's rules as they are written, evaluate each team's roster composition to make sure each team sees a benefit for their roster, try to make sure one owner is simply not an idiot (never 100% accurate!) and evaluate the potential for collusion in the trade.

What do you do that I can't?

The MOST important thing... Be completely unbiased. As the commissioner of a league in which you are also an owner, your view of the trade will ALWAYS hold a subconscious tendency to lean towards one side or the other. Our league uses a trade veto voting process, why do we need Commish Advisor?

It is Commish Advisor's view that the veto voting process is the WORST method to determine the fairness of the trade. With veto voting, you have taken the subsconsious bias of one person, and given every league owner an opportunity to vocally express his/her bias!

• Many owners will NEVER vote to approve a trade within their own division
• Some owners will vote against a trade if they have previously tried to trade for one of the players involved
• Many owners will vote against owners who they do not get along with personally, and vote in favor of owners who are their friends
• Some owners will never vote to approve ANY trade

What criteria is used to evaluate my trade?

There are many criteria, methods and sources used when evaluating trades and not all criteria are applicable to each trade. Although we use many criteria, the MOST important criteria are the wording of the league rules as written and the potential for collusion in the trade.

Evaluating player talent and fantasy potential varies so much between fantasy owners... In fact, the evaluation of talent varies tremendously between professional sports organizations themselves.

Standard criteria and priority (not all trades use all criteria or priority):

• Analyzation of league rules to ensure the trade falls within league requirements
• Evaluation of trade for potential of collusion

  • Roster composition
  • Past trades offered/accepted
  • Past message board postings
• Player evaluation
  
  • Comparison of current season's stats
  • Evaluation of long-term potential (mutli-year leagues only)
  • Additional player input from respected fantasy writers and communities (when necessary)
